COBIT is the only business framework for the governance and management of enterprise IT. It incorporates the latest thinking in enterprise governance and management techniques, and provides globally accepted principles, practices, analytical tools and links to supporting frameworks and standards such as ITIL, AGILE, Organisational Change Management etc. to help increase the trust in, and value from, information systems and technology.

COBIT has developed into a broader and more comprehensive information and technology (I&T) governance and management framework. Moreover, it continues to be known as the generally accepted framework for I&T governance and management across the world.

The course comprises lectures, group discussion, assignments, a sample examination paper and other guidance which will prepare attendees for the COBIT 2019 Foundation examination. The course content is based on COBIT 2019, including the introduction and methodology and other supporting documentation.

Delegates will be issued with a course workbook, in-course hand-outs and other relevant material.
There are no specific requirements for pre-reading.
The COBIT 2019 Foundation Certificate Exam is an online, closed-book, remotely proctored exam. The exam covers eight domains and includes a total of 75 questions. Exam-takers will be given two hours (120 minutes) to complete the exam. Each multiple-choice question has three options with only one correct answer. A score of 65% or higher is required to pass the exam.
